WINTERINA is the vision of a woman with passion for a sport that’s beauty it’s defined by both the talent of the skater and the dresses that they wear. She noticed that so often the options available in skating attire were redundant, and so she decided to create the first prêt- a – couture line ever that caters to the ballerinas of the ice. Her luxe yet affordable designs are intended to have the utmost versatility.
The winter 2017 collection was inspired by the iconic figure skater Sonja Henie and tells a story of the most magnificent creature… THE GOLDEN SWAN
The tale of the Golden Swan is a tale of the magic and confidence within oneself and it’s a reminder that internal beauty will always resonate. The Golden Swan was not always so shiny and bright, because she felt lost and without passion for anything, but her discovery of the art of skating completely changed her universe. The only time the swan was ever truly happy was on the ice. For some reason whenever she laced up her skates, the darkness began to fade more and more every day. Soon enough it had disappeared altogether and she had never felt so liberated. The Swan sadness and self-doubt began to blossom and transform into something that had never been seen before. Her kindness, effortless beauty and talent could not be ignored as The Golden Swan spiraled throughout the world, because the shinning light inside of her touched everyone who watched her and drew them in one spin at a time.
